The Science Behind the Juvéderm® Collection of Dermal Fillers

Juvéderm® fillers are formulated with a modified form of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance that plays an essential role replenishing your skin by hydrating and restoring your skin’s natural volume.

Our Consultation Process

During your dermal filler appointment, our team of expert injectors will talk with you and evaluate your medical history to ensure there is no contraindication that means you should not use the Juvéderm® injectable products. Once it has been determined that you are a candidate, they will discuss with you which Juvéderm® filler is the best option for your facial enhancement and volumizing needs.

About The Procedure

Typically, anesthesia is not required as your injector may opt to use a topical numbing cream on the areas of the face being volumized. However, all Juvéderm® fillers contain lidocaine to help manage any discomfort. One of our team of expert injectors will precisely inject the dermal filler into the skin using an ultra-fine needle to fill the wrinkles and creases. Their goal is to provide you with smooth, natural-looking results. Once the Juvéderm® filler is injected under your skin, you may have some temporary mild redness and swelling. An ice pack quickly relieves these symptoms.
