He is on staff at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center, Lee Memorial Hospital, Health Park, and Gulf Coast Hospital.
A graduate of The State of New York’s Medical School in Syracuse, Dr. Mazza performed his general surgery and plastic surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
He studied under Miami’s renowned Dr. Ralph Millard whose patients include film stars and others in the public eye.
Dr. Mazza also completed a special plastic surgery fellowship in Nottingham, England.
He is a consultant to Children’s Medical Services for craniofacial anomalies and is active with the Florida Cleft Palate Association.

Dr. Mazza is on the Board of Directors of the non-profit group Faces of Hope. Faces of Hope is a non profit organization that provides much needed surgery to children in medically under served countries. The Faces of Hope focus is to provide the services while at the same time increasing the standard of care by providing continuing education to the host country healthcare providers.

Beginning in the new year, I will be gradually slowing down my schedule, but I remain actively involved and committed to providing excellent care. The practice ownership will fall to my partner, Dr. Davek Sharma, who joined us in October, 2024, and who has my unwavering support. Dr. Sharma shares the same values, standards, and dedication to patient care that have always defined this office, and I am very excited about the direction he will take the practice in the future.
Over the past many years, it has been my privilege to care for you and your families. Building this practice has been one of the greatest professional joys of my life, and I remain deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me. With that in mind, I want to assure you of something very clearly from the start: I am not retiring. Rather, I am thoughtfully transitioning into a new phase of my career—one that allows me to slow down slightly while remaining actively involved in patient care and in the future of the practice…
